We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations at a leading chemical manufacturing company in Dahej, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in production planning, team management, process optimization, and continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Manage overall production operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Monitor production output, productivity, manpower utilization, and machine performance.
- Lead and supervise production managers, engineers, supervisors, and shop-floor teams.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores, Purchase, and Supply Chain departments.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Reduce manufacturing costs, wastage, rejection, rework, and equipment downtime.
- Monitor KPIs, including production output, yield, downtime, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, industrial safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize manpower,



raw material consumption, and other production resources.
- Prepare production reports, MIS, and performance reviews for management.
- Support new product/process implementation and capacity enhancement.
- Maintain production documentation and ensure proper shift handovers.

Required Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in production management, including at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Experience in manufacturing or process-industry operations.
- Robust knowledge of production planning, process control, productivity improvement, and cost optimization.
- Proven experience in team leadership and cross-functional coordination.
- Knowledge of industrial safety, SOPs, and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems and production MIS reporting will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at Dahej, Gujarat.
