Role Objective

To take complete on-ground ownership of fleet, fuel, drivers, dispatch, and logistics coordination — ensuring zero leakage, high vehicle utilization, disciplined drivers, and smooth end-to-end material movement.

This is a field-intensive operational control role.

Key Responsibilities 1️ End-to-End Dispatch Control (On Ground)

- Physically supervise daily dispatch operations.
- Ensure correct material, correct weight, correct vehicle.
- Coordinate loading team and drivers.
- Prevent wrong loading, short loading, and overloading.
- Monitor dispatch timing and reduce yard congestion.
- Close daily dispatch report before leaving site.

2️ Driver & Fleet Supervision

- Daily attendance and allocation of drivers.
- Route planning and vehicle assignment.
- Monitor driver behavior and discipline.
- Track vehicle movement and delays.
- Handle breakdowns and emergency situations.
- Control hired vehicle negotiations and availability.

3️ Fuel Management & Leakage Control

- Monitor fuel filling for every vehicle.
- Maintain fuel logbook per vehicle.
- Track mileage and fuel efficiency.
- Investigate abnormal consumption.
- Prevent misuse or theft.
- Coordinate fuel vendor and payment records.

4️ Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance





- Preventive maintenance scheduling.
- Ensure insurance, fitness, permits are valid.
- Reduce downtime.
- Track repair cost per vehicle.
- Maintain service history file.

5️ Inbound Logistics Coordination

- Coordinate material pickups.
- Reduce unloading delay.
- Prevent demurrage and detention.
- Ensure inward material record accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement & yard team.

- On-time dispatch %
- Fuel consumption per km
- Vehicle idle time %
- Fleet utilization %
- Dispatch error rate
- Cost per MT transported
- Breakdown frequency

Required Profile

- 5+ years hands-on logistics experience
- Must have managed drivers directly
- Experience in construction materials / steel / cement preferred
- Solid discipline mindset
- Comfortable working full day on yard
- No problem solving attitude — must be solution oriented

Pay: ₹9,918.79 - ₹31,512.31 per month
