The Executive - Shipping role at Varun Beverages Ltd. is a key position overseeing shipping operations, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. - Plan and execute daily dispatch schedules, ensuring timely and accurate shipments. - Supervise shipping staff, loaders, and operators, allocating resources effectively. - Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and dispatch, maintaining strong relationships. - Monitor loading and unloading to prevent damage and ensure material accuracy. - Prepare and verify dispatch documents, including invoices and e-way bills, for compliance. - Update ERP systems with dispatch data, maintaining organized records. - Ensure FIFO compliance and material availability, coordinating with the warehouse team. - Report any accidents, near misses, or deviations promptly, maintaining a safe workplace. - Coordinate with internal teams for smooth operations, including production and sales. - Prepare shift reports on dispatch performance, identifying areas for improvement.
