Hiring for an Accountant working within a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) or IT/ITES company, requiring specialized knowledge in high-volume bookkeeping, GST, TDS, and payroll compliance (Form 16/16A).

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities & Duties

1. Bookkeeping & Accounting (Tally ERP/Prime)

- Maintain comprehensive day-to-day books of accounts, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Generate invoices for BPO/IT services and manage client billing (Accounts Receivable).
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments (Accounts Payable).
- Perform weekly or monthly bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Prepare monthly profit & loss accounts and balance sheet schedules for management.

2. GST Compliance

- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B.
- Reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B and ensure compliance.
- Handle GST invoicing, e-way bills (if applicable), and RCM (Reverse Charge Mechanism) entries.

3. TDS, Payroll, and Statutory Compliance

- Deduct and deposit TDS on skilled fees, rent, and contractor payments.
- File quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q)



and generate TDS certificates (Form 16, 16A).
- Assist in payroll processing, including TDS calculation on salaries.
- Manage employee tax documentation for Form 16.

4. Audit & Reporting

- Prepare audit schedules and provide data for internal/statutory audits.
- Maintain and archive all financial documentation systematically.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience : 1-5+ years in accounting, preferably in the IT/BPO industry.
- Software Proficiency : Expert knowledge of Tally Prime/Tally ERP 9.
- Tax Knowledge : Strong understanding of GST and TDS regulations in India.
- Other Tools : Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and data management.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
