Job Summary

The Purchase & Store Executive will be responsible for material planning, procurement, vendor coordination, and inventory management for control panel manufacturing and electrical turnkey projects. The role ensures timely availability of materials, cost optimization, vendor development, and productive store operations to support uninterrupted production and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities1. Material Planning & Procurement

- Prepare material requirement plans (MRP) based on project BOM, drawings, and production schedules.
- Identify long lead items and potential material risks early and escalate to management.
- Generate Purchase Orders (POs) and track order status until delivery.
- Ensure timely procurement of electrical and automation components required for panel manufacturing.

1. Vendor Management & Development

- Coordinate with existing vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Identify and develop new vendors for electrical components, panel accessories, and fabrication items .
- Conduct price comparisons and negotiations to optimize procurement cost.
- Maintain vendor performance records including delivery timelines, quality, and reliability.

- Store & Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate stock records for all electrical and mechanical components.
- Implement minimum stock levels and reorder points for frequently used items.
- Monitor inventory to prevent shortages or excess stock .
- Maintain proper material inward and outward documentation .

- Manufacturing Support

- Coordinate with the manufacturing and production teams to prepare material kits as per panel requirements .
- Ensure complete kits are available before panel assembly starts to avoid production delays.




- Assist production in material identification and component tracking .

- Technical Understanding

- Quickly learn and understand control panel components such as :

- PLCs
- VFDs
- MCCBs / MCBs
- Contactors
- Relays
- Power supplies
- Terminal blocks
- Sensors and instrumentation
- Coordinate with the design team to understand BOM requirements .

1. Documentation & Process Compliance
- Maintain records of:

- Purchase Orders
- GRN (Goods Receipt Notes)
- Delivery challans
- Material inspection reports
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards .

1. Logistics & Coordination

- Coordinate with transporters and vendors for material dispatch and delivery .
- Track shipments and update the project and production teams on delivery timelines .

- Continuous Improvement

- Improve procurement processes to reduce lead times and costs .
- Support management in cost control and procurement strategy .
- Identify opportunities for bulk purchasing and vendor consolidation .

Required Skills :

- Good understanding / Grasping of electrical control panel components .
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills .
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes .
- Ability to read BOMs and basic electrical component lists .
- Strong coordination and communication skills.

Qualifications :

- 1-5 years of experience in procurement or store management.

Preferred Skills but not mandatory:

- Experience working with electrical panel manufacturers or automation companies .
- Knowledge of ERP systems or inventory management software .
- Familiarity with Schneider, Siemens, ABB, L&T; components .

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
