Position: Assistant Sales Manager Location: Delhi Experience: 7-12 Years

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
- Identify and acquire new customers for rigid plastic packaging products, including PET bottles, HDPE bottles, jars, containers, caps, and closures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in FMCG, Pharma, Personal Care, Food & Beverage, and Industrial companies.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and order closure.
- Coordinate with internal teams including production, planning, quality, and logistics to ensure timely execution of customer orders.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and technical discussions to promote packaging solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize contracts while maintaining company profitability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify recent business opportunities.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.




- Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and pipeline updates for management review.

Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 6-10 years of experience in B2B Sales within the FMCG Packaging industry.
- Proven track record of handling key accounts and achieving sales targets.

Required Skills :

- Strong B2B sales and business development expertise.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Experience in key account management and strategic customer acquisition.
- Knowledge of rigid plastic packaging products and manufacturing processes.
- Strong commercial acumen and market analysis skills.
- Proficiency in CRM, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer meetings and business development.
