We are currently hiring an Assistant Professor - Computer Applications & Tally to deliver practical and industry-oriented training at our partner universities in Jamshedpur.

Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic faculty member with strong expertise in Computer Applications, Advanced Excel, and Tally Prime to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver classroom lectures and practical sessions on Computer Applications and Business Software.
- Deliver hands-on training in Tally Prime , including accounting, GST, inventory management, payroll, banking, and financial reporting.
- Teach Computer Fundamentals, MS Office, DBMS, SQL, MIS, Internet & E-Commerce, and Business Applications.
- Conduct practical lab sessions and software demonstrations.
- Develop lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide academic mentoring.
- Guide students on projects, internships, and industry readiness.
- Participate in curriculum development, examinations, academic planning, and faculty meetings.
- Support placement initiatives and industry interaction activities.

Required Qualifications Education

- Master's Degree in Computer Applications (MCA), Computer Science, Information Technology, M.Com (Computer Applications), or a related discipline.
- NET/SET or Ph.D. will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 1-5 years of teaching or software training experience.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on expertise in Tally Prime (mandatory) :

- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Dashboards, Data Analysis, Conditional Formatting)

- MS Office Suite

- Computer Fundamentals

- Database Management Systems (DBMS)

- SQL

- Management Information Systems (MIS)

- Basic understanding of ERP software

- Excellent classroom presentation and communication skills

- Strong mentoring and student engagement abilities

- Prior experience teaching Tally Prime and Advanced Excel.

- Ability to conduct practical, hands-on software training.

- Passion for teaching and student development.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Industry-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and outcome-based education.

Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
