Job Summary

The Multiplex Cashier is responsible for handling ticket sales, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service to guests at the cinema. The role involves maintaining accurate cash transactions, assisting customers with show timings, and ensuring smooth operations at the ticket counter.

Key Responsibilities

- Sell movie tickets, food & beverage coupons, and other services at the box office or POS counter.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
- Maintain proper records of daily transactions and cash collections.
- Provide customers with information about movie schedules, ticket prices, and offers.
- Ensure proper billing through the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier counter.
- Resolve basic customer queries politely and escalate issues to the supervisor when required.
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.




- Follow company policies regarding cash handling and fraud prevention.

Required Skills :

- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems.
- Positive communication and customer service skills.
- Basic mathematical and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and honesty in financial transactions.

Qualification

- Minimum 10+2 / Intermediate or equivalent.
- Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or cinema operations is preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

- 0-2 years of experience in cashiering, retail, or customer service.

Working Conditions

- Rotational shifts including morning, evening, and night shows .
- Work during weekends, holidays, and peak movie release days .

Pay: ₹9,822.65 - ₹18,000.00 per month
