Job Title : Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location : Kolkata (Head Office)

Travel : Mandatory - Factory visits to Jodhpur & Pondicherry (alternate months, 5 days per visit)

Salary : ₹65,000 - ₹70,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and streamline end-to-end factory operations, commercial coordination, and execution across multiple manufacturing units. The role requires strong leadership in production planning, quality control, compliance, vendor coordination, and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Factory Operations & Coordination
- Overall coordination with manufacturing units (Jodhpur & Pondicherry)
- Production planning in coordination with marketing, purchase, RM stock & process timelines
- Minimize production changes due to RM shortages or machine breakdowns
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of material to customers
- Factory visit & coordination for new machine installation and commissioning
- Preventive maintenance follow-up for factory machines and lab equipment

Quality, Compliance & Audits

- Oversee customer audits, documentation, post-audit reports, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Follow-up on factory licenses, pollution norms, statutory compliances
- Strengthen factory documentation & control systems

Commercial & Finance Control





- Incentive plan design for managers and key team members
- Costing: FG cost calculations and price recommendations to marketing
- Vendor payments, freight negotiation, bill verification & logistics coordination
- Control dispatch-related payments and customer billing coordination

Purchase & Vendor Management

- Identify new sourcing options and vendor registrations
- Coordination with refineries and suppliers for raw material procurement
- RM stock verification during factory visits

People Management & Training

- Training and development of new employees, managers, and coordinators
- Cross-functional coordination between production, QC, purchase, admin & finance
- Support HR activities related to manpower planning and operational training

Required Experience & Skills

- Proven experience in Commercial + Factory Operations
- Background in Production or Quality Control is mandatory
- Robust understanding of manufacturing processes & execution
- Experience handling multiple factories is highly preferred
- Ability to lead coordination-driven roles and reduce operational delays

Languages : Hindi (Good communication required)
