Position : CAD Designer

Location : Greater Noida

Core Responsibilities

Drafting & Modeling: Prepare exact 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp, including site layouts, module mounting structures, SLD and Solar Plant layout.

Electrical Design : Develop detailed Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical schematics, cable routing, and junction box diagrams.

Technical Analysis: Interpret site survey reports to conduct shading analysis and optimize solar PV system efficiency.

Project Documentation: Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), cable schedules, and as-built drawings post-installation.

Site Support: Collaborate with field engineers and technicians to ensure design compliance with site-marking and installation standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is typically required.





Software Mastery: Essential: AutoCAD/Draftsight/others (latest versions).

Preferred: SketchUp, PVsyst, Helioscope, and PVCASE for solar-specific simulations.

Experience: Most Greater Noida employers prefer 1-4 years of relevant drafting experience, though specialized utility-scale roles may require 5+ years.

Standards: Knowledge of national/international safety codes (e.g., IEC, IEEE) and structural load calculations.

Salary & Work Environment in Greater Noida

Senior/Specialized: Can exceed ? 8 lakh per annum depending on expertise in complex utility-scale projects.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
