Job Title : Chef - Cold Kitchen (Salad Preparation)

Location : JUHU, MUMBAI

Job Summary : Key Responsibilities :

- Prepare a variety of salads, cold appetizers, dressings, and sauces as per recipes and standards
- Ensure freshness and proper storage of vegetables, fruits, and cold ingredients
- Maintain mise en place for smooth kitchen operations
- Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines
- Ensure food presentation and plating meet company standards
- Monitor and maintain hygiene and sanitation in the cold kitchen area
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation (FIFO method)
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff for timely service
- Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Cold Kitchen Chef / Salad Chef / Commis Chef :

- Knowledge of food safety standards (FSSAI guidelines preferred) :





- Basic understanding of international and continental salads :

- Good knife skills and vegetable cutting techniques

- Ability to work in a quick-paced kitchen environment

- Team player with good communication skills

Education & Experience :

- Diploma / Certification in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in cold kitchen or salad preparation

Working Conditions :

- Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Standing for long hours in a kitchen environment

Compensation :

- Salary: As per experience
- Meals & other benefits as per company policy

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
