Job Summary

The Counsellor will provide emotional, psychological, and behavioral support to specially abled students. The role involves working closely with students, parents, teachers, and therapists to support students' mental well-being, learning development, and social integration. The counsellor will help students overcome emotional, behavioral, and social challenges while promoting a positive and inclusive learning setting.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Psychology / Counselling / Child Development / Special Education .
- Certification in Child Counselling or School Counselling preferred.

Experience

- 1-3 years of experience in counselling children or working in a school environment.
- Experience working with special needs children (Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, etc.) is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to specially abled students.
- Support students in managing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges .




- Observe and identify students who may need psychological or emotional support .
- Develop and implement individual counselling plans for students.
- Work closely with teachers and special educators to support student development.
- Guide teachers on behavior management and classroom support strategies .
- Conduct parent counselling sessions and provide guidance for supporting children.
- Monitor and track student emotional and behavioral progress .
- Maintain confidential records and reports of counselling sessions.
- Organize life skills, emotional well-being, and social skills activities for students.
- Refer students to psychologists, therapists, or medical professionals when required.
- Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment .

Working Schedule

- 5 working days per week (Monday to Friday) :

- School working hours as per institution policy

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
