Responsibilities

- Plan lessons based on school curriculums and values
- Develop learning objectives for students based on objective assessments
- Hold regular classroom meetings to check in on students
- Meet with parents to discuss student progress and concerns
- Judge student comprehension with formative assessments
- Prepare detailed report cards to inform families of student progress
- Coordination of Pre-Primary Department
- Create lesson plans for each class based on your experience and the students’ specific needs
- Introduce interactive activities into the classroom and encourage students to vocalize their concerns and questions
- Communicate with other team members as well as with parents about students’ progress and behavior
- Encourage creativity in students by organizing art and craft projects on a daily basis
- Create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom
- Listen carefully to parents’ requests and concerns and address them as quickly as possible
- Maintain accurate & complete records of students progress
- Meeting the teachers of the areas on regular basis and maintain minutes of meeting

Preferred qualifications

- Teaching certificate
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is often required, along with teacher training to gain practical experience.
- Graduation +MTT / NTT Certificate
- 2-3 years of experience of teaching in the Kindergarten section.
- The Kindergarten Co-ordinator is required to teach the children along with handling the KG team.
- Familiarity with educational standards
- Understanding of the community served by the school
- Inventiveness and creativity
- Comprehensive grasp of learning material
