Job Overview : MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Barshi, is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and visionary Principal to lead the institution in alignment with CBSE standards and the school’s academic philosophy. The Principal will be responsible for overall school administration, academic excellence, staff management, student development, parent engagement, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership

- Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum and guidelines
- Drive academic excellence through innovative teaching-learning practices
- Monitor lesson planning, assessments, and student performance
- Promote experiential and activity-based learning methodologies
- Conduct academic reviews and teacher evaluations regularly

School Administration

- Oversee day-to-day school operations and administration
- Ensure smooth functioning of academic and non-academic departments
- Maintain discipline, safety, and a positive school culture
- Manage school policies, documentation, and statutory compliance

Staff Management

- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff
- Conduct training programs and career development initiatives
- Foster teamwork, accountability, and staff engagement

Student Development

- Ensure holistic development of students through academics, sports, arts, and co-curricular activities
- Promote student discipline, well-being, and value-based education




- Support counselling and student mentoring initiatives

Parent & Stakeholder Engagement

- Build strong relationships with parents and stakeholders
- Conduct PTMs, orientation programs, and school events effectively
- Represent the school in educational forums and external interactions

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure adherence to CBSE affiliation norms and educational regulations
- Manage audits, inspections, and statutory requirements
- Maintain records and reports as required by management and authorities

Qualifications (As per CBSE Norms) :

- Master’s Degree with B.Ed./M.Ed. (mandatory)
- Minimum 8-10 years of teaching experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in leadership/administrative role as Principal/Vice Principal/Academic Head
- Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum, policies, and school operations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and administrative skills
