Job Description:

To safely operate, monitor, and maintain Manufacturing, Coating, and Wrapping processes in compliance with Mars Snacking standards, ensuring delivery of high-quality products while achieving Safety, Quality, Food Safety, Food Security, TRS, and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Compliance

- Follow all site HSE procedures & Life Saving Standards.
- Wear and maintain mandatory PPE as required for the work area.
- Operate machinery only after completing required OJT and authorization.
- Report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents immediately.
- Participate in HIRA, Behavior observations, and workplace inspections.
- Operate Equipment only if trained, certified, and authorized.
- Follow LOTO, machine guarding, and energy isolation requirements.
- Maintain positive housekeeping standards (5S) in the work area.
- Use correct ergonomic practices during manual handling and repetitive tasks.
- Participate in emergency drills and understand emergency evacuation procedures.
- Stop work and escalate when unsafe conditions are observed.

Quality, GMP & Food Safety Compliance

- Operate Manufacturing, Coating, and Wrapping equipment strictly as per approved site SOPs and Mars Standard Work.
- Ensure all assigned activity to maintain that products meet all quality, weight, coating, appearance, and packaging specifications.
- Perform quality checks at defined frequencies. (SOP) and documentation
- Adhere to policies GMP,



personal hygiene, sanitation, allergen control, and contamination prevention requirements.
- Escalate any quality or food safety deviations immediately to supervisors using the DMS escalation process.
- Support audit readiness and compliance with Mars Quality Management Systems.

Food Security Compliance

- Must follow all site Food Security and Product Protection requirements & food defence requirement
- Ensure authorized access to enter manufacturing and packaging areas.
- Document records properly to maintain material traceability throughout the process.
- Follow GMP practise to protect raw materials, WIP, and finished products from contamination and tampering.
- Follow the site IT Policy ( Not to take mobile inside shop floor)

Operational Excellence & Efficiency

- Operate manufacturing, coating, and wrapping equipment at optimum efficiency.

- Monitor and improve TRS,, throughput, yield, and line performance.

- Minimize downtime, wastage, rework, scrap, and process losses.

- Support achievement of daily production plans and business targets.

- Participate in loss elimination and Focused Improvement activities.

- Escalate abnormalities promptly and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

- Actively participate in MWS(Mars work system.

DMS & Shift Management

- Participate actively in CP0, CP1, meetings.

- Ensure effective shift handover using Module Boards and DMS standards.

- Update safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people metrics accurately.

- Follow escalation management and problem-solving processes.

- Communicate equipment conditions, quality concerns,



and outstanding actions during handovers.

Autonomous Maintenance & Equipment Care

- Perform routine cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and operational checks.
- Identify equipment deterioration and raise maintenance notifications.
- Support Planned Maintenance and Autonomous Maintenance activities.
- Maintain equipment basic conditions to improve reliability and performance.
- Drive first-line troubleshooting and restoration of equipment standards.

Workplace Organization & 5S

- Maintain machines and work areas in a clean and organized condition.

- Adhere to 5S standards and visual management practices.

- Ensure proper storage of tools, materials, and documentation.

- Take ownership of assigned areas and continuously improve workplace conditions.
