1. Academic Responsibilities

- Teach English language and literature to Senior Secondary classes (XI-XII) as per the Central Board of Secondary Education / school curriculum .
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and instructional materials .
- Develop students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking .
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, assignments, and projects .
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students .

- Curriculum Planning

- Plan and implement annual and monthly syllabus distribution .
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning with the English department.
- Integrate innovative teaching methods, ICT tools, and activity-based learning .

- Student Development

- Encourage creative writing, debates, dramatics, and literary activities .
- Guide students for board examinations and competitive exams .
- Monitor students’ academic progress and behavior .
- Provide remedial support to weak learners .

- Examination and Evaluation Work

- Prepare question papers, worksheets, and assessment rubrics .
- Maintain records of student performance and internal assessments .




- Assist in board examination duties, invigilation, and evaluation .

- Co-Curricular Activities

- Organize literary clubs, language activities, and competitions such as debates, poetry recitation, and essay writing.
- Coordinate school functions, assemblies, and cultural programs when required.

- Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain class records, attendance, and academic documentation .
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training programs .
- Support school administration in discipline, supervision, and school events .

- Career development

- Participate in Capacity Building Programs (CBPs), seminars, and training workshops .
- Stay updated with new teaching methodologies and curriculum changes .

- Communication and Collaboration

- Communicate with parents regarding student progress during PTMs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, HOD, and school leadership for academic improvement.

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
