Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, gather requirements, define KPIs,

document business rules, and translate business needs into effective reporting and analytical

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, semantic models,

datasets, and measures using Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and related tools.

Create meaningful visualizations and data stories that highlight trends, exceptions, root causes,

opportunities, and recommended business actions.

Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and analysis.

Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, ETL validation, and quality checks across

multiple data sources.

Conduct structured research using public web sources, industry publications, market intelligence

platforms, and approved third-party paid data sources. Validate source credibility, data

accuracy, and relevance before using the information for business analysis.

Investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, maintain KPI and data definitions, and

coordinate corrective actions with technical and business teams.

Identify repetitive or error-prone processes and use Python, Power Query, Power Automate,

VBA, or other suitable tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Support the migration of Excel-based reports and manual processes to governed Power BI

solutions while improving report usability, performance, consistency, and adoption.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, Data Analytics, Computer Science,

Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, data analytics,

Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, DAX, Power

Query, data modeling, semantic models, and Power BI Service.

Solid SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, aggregations, reconciliation, and data validation.

Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, PivotTables, complex formulas, and

data analysis.

Practical knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas, data warehousing, ETL processes,

data cleansing, and data-quality validation.

Experience researching and validating business, market, competitor, customer, or industry data

Strong analytical, problem-solving, root-cause-analysis, communication, presentation, and
