Role Overview : We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for building and scaling core platform capabilities within Phenom's AI-driven talent experience platform.This role requires a solid technical leader who can drive architecture, execution, and team development while delivering scalable and reliable systems used by global enterprise customers.What You'll Do : 1. Lead Engineering Execution : - Own end-to-end delivery of engineering initiatives from architecture and design through production deployment.- Translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with long-term platform architecture.- Drive engineering best practices in code quality, testing, observability, and system reliability.2. Architect Scalable Systems : - Design and build large-scale distributed systems that power enterprise SaaS products.- Ensure systems are secure, highly available, and scalable to support global enterprise workloads.- Lead architecture discussions and guide teams in building microservices-based cloud-native systems.3. Influence Platform Innovation : - Contribute to platform-wide architecture and engineering strategy.- Identify opportunities to build reusable services and platform capabilities.- Drive initiatives that create long-term engineering leverage across teams.What We're Looking For : - 10+ years of experience in software engineering within product development organizations.- 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams.- Strong experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems.- Strong backend development experience in Java or similar languages.- Experience building microservices-based architectures.- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.- Experience working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or similar.- Strong system design and architecture skills.- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in fast-paced product environments.
