A Better Opportunity Our Accounting team is hiring for a proactive and motivated Financial Reporting Manager/ Sr. The focus will be on external and internal financial reporting as well as being involved in the corporate ledger accounts. Work on quarterly 10-Q's and annual 10-K's for SEC financial reporting as well as build out required disclosures and supporting schedules for footnotes, MD&A;, and 8-K's/earnings release

- Work on monthly financial reporting for our different regulatory and credit stakeholders
- Participate in month end closing by taking ownership of key corporate level accounts
- Collaborate with team members to provide practical and necessary financial reports
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations including investigating aged or unreconciled items
- Implement accounting guidance for new accounting standard updates or initiatives
- Work with our external auditors to ensure the timely completion of reviews and audits




- Educate coworkers regarding financial practices, implications, and policies
- Provide ad hoc analysis support to business leaders and key partners for complex accounting questions
- Degree in accounting or finance
- 5-7 years of experience in an accounting firm or in-house at a company
- At least 1 year of management experience
- Experienced knowledge of U.Proven expertise with Excel (combining large data sets, sumifs, index/match, vlookups, etc); familiarity with SQL a plus
- Experience working with Netsuite a plus
- Experience working at a public company
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, without losing attention to detail
- Experience with industries such as financial technology, mortgage banking, or lending a plus
