About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with strong experience in Oil & Gas / Hydrocarbon Consulting / EPC Engineering Design .

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, managing engineering activities, reviewing technical deliverables, supporting conceptual and FEED studies, and coordinating with clients and project teams .

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of Process Engineering, Oil & Gas Field Development, Process Simulation, Equipment Sizing, Process Safety, Hydraulics, and Flow Assurance .

Key Responsibilities

? Engineering Management :

- Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams .

- Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering activities across different disciplines.

- Allocate engineering resources based on project requirements.

- Supervise and coordinate engineering teams to ensure timely project delivery.

- Develop, train, and mentor engineering team members.

- Review engineering deliverables to ensure technical quality and compliance.

- Provide technical inputs for projects, proposals, and client requirements.

? Conceptual & FEED Studies

- Lead Conceptual Engineering and FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) studies .

- Develop engineering concepts and provide technical recommendations.

- Prepare and review Basis of Design (BOD) and project cost estimates.

- Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

- Evaluate different engineering options and provide suitable technical solutions.

? Process Engineering





Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in:

- Oil & Gas field development.

- Process simulation and conceptual studies.

- Preparation and review of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) .

- Preparation and review of Heat & Material Balances (HMB) .

- Preparation and review of P&IDs; .

- Process equipment specification and sizing.

- Preparation of specifications for bought-out equipment/items .

- Hydraulics and Flow Assurance Studies .

- Process safety studies for Oil & Gas facilities.

? Project & Contract Management

- Support contract management and project execution activities.

- Monitor engineering schedules, resources, and project costs.

- Identify project changes and participate in the evaluation of change requests .

- Ensure engineering activities are completed within agreed timelines and project requirements.

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams as required.

? Commissioning & Troubleshooting

- Provide engineering support during commissioning and start-up activities .

- Support troubleshooting of process and engineering-related issues.

- Participate in technical discussions with clients and project teams.

- Travel to project/client locations when required for technical discussions and project support.

- Coordinate effectively with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil/Structural and other engineering disciplines.

- Ensure smooth communication between engineering teams, management, clients, and external stakeholders.

Required Qualification

? B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.

? 10+ years of relevant engineering experience , preferably in:

- Oil & Gas

- Hydrocarbon Consulting

- EPC Companies

- Engineering Design & Consulting

- Oil & Gas Field Development
