Role Overview:We need a Sr. PagerDuty / AIOps Engineer to act as the technical lead for a PagerDuty implementation, including migration from an existing Moogsoft setup. The role covers platform design, configuration, migration planning, production cutover and stabilization.Key Responsibilities:- Act as the technical anchor for the PagerDuty implementation.- Understand the existing Moogsoft configuration and map the required capabilities to PagerDuty.- Own PagerDuty platform configuration and implementation standards.- Design event orchestration, routing, correlation, deduplication and suppression rules.- Configure services, teams, schedules, escalation policies and responder workflows.- Lead technical decisions for the PagerDuty implementation.- Support migration planning, production cutover and stabilization.- Coordinate technically with monitoring,



ServiceNow and automation engineers.- Ensure the implementation meets the technical outcomes agreed in the SOW.Mandatory Skills:- Robust hands-on PagerDuty implementation experience- PagerDuty Event Orchestration- Event routing, correlation, deduplication and suppression- Services, teams and business-service configuration- On-call schedules and escalation policies- Incident response workflow configuration- PagerDuty REST APIs and integrations- Enterprise production implementation experience- Moogsoft architecture, operations and migration knowledge- Monitoring and observability concepts- Alert and event migration experience- Major Incident Management workflows- ServiceNow incident integration- Production migration and cutover- Event-noise reduction and alert optimization- Technical documentation and knowledge transfer (KT)Good to Have:- Terraform / PagerDuty provider- Python / Bash- Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch- Teams / Slack integrations- Broader AIOps experience (ref:hirist.tech)
