Our flagship product, EDU, is an AI-powered Education ERP and Learning Management System (LMS) designed for schools, colleges and universities.
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer (BDO) with a strong background in SaaS/software sales and the education sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, engaging educational institutions, demonstrating software solutions, and driving customer acquisition.
Identify and approach schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions.
- Generate qualified B2B leads through field visits, networking, cold calling and referrals.
- Conduct client meetings and coordinate software product demonstrations.
- Understand institutional requirements and recommend suitable software solutions.
- Manage sales pipelines, follow-ups,
commercial discussions and client relationships.
- Achieve assigned business development and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity reports.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in B2B SaaS or software product sales is mandatory.
- Relevant sales experience in the education sector or EdTech industry is mandatory.
- Experience approaching institutional decision-makers and conducting client meetings.
- Understanding of SaaS products, sales cycles and customer acquisition.
- Proficiency in Punjabi and Hindi, with working knowledge of English.
- Willingness to travel regularly within assigned sales territories.
Experience selling Education ERP, LMS or school management software.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Graduation in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, IT or a related discipline.
