* Reports To: Financial Controller / Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & General Ledger

* Oversee daily operations of the finance department, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and payroll processing.

* Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all daily income, expenditures, and journal entries are accurately recorded.

* Review daily Night Audit reports and reconcile Property Management System (PMS) data with the core accounting software.

Reconciliations & Auditing

* Perform monthly bank reconciliations, credit card processing settlements, and cash drops.

* Audit Online Travel Agency (OTA) commissions (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia) and corporate client accounts.

* Monitor food, beverage, and operating costs alongside the F&B; team to identify variances and control leakage.

Reporting & Compliance

* Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to generate timely P&L; statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.





* Manage statutory compliance including timely filing of GST, TDS, and corporate tax returns.

* Coordinate with external auditors and internal teams to ensure accurate financial documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education & Experience

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA Inter / ICWA is a strong plus).

* 3 to 5+ years of experience as an accountant, with a minimum of 2 years in the hotel/hospitality industry.

Technical Skills

* Proficiency in Hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, IDS Next, Prologic First) and dedicated accounting packages (e.g., Tally Prime or ERP systems).

* Advanced MS Excel skills for financial modeling, pivot tables, and custom reporting formulas.

* Deep understanding of hospitality taxation including HSN/SAC codes for room tariffs, restaurants, and banquets.

Soft Skills

* High analytical precision with an ability to spot patterns and errors in high-volume transaction environments.

* Solid leadership skills to guide, train, and review the work of junior bookkeepers and cashiers.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
