Job Description

GAUR ART & HANDICRAFTS LLP is urgently looking for an experienced Metal Fitter / Foreman for our furniture manufacturing factory. The candidate will be responsible for supervising metal fabrication and fitting work used in furniture production.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily metal fitting, fabrication, and assembly activities.
- Read and understand technical drawings, measurements, and specifications.
- Handle metal cutting, drilling, grinding, fitting, and assembly work.
- Coordinate with welders, fabricators, and production teams.
- Manage workers and allocate daily tasks.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of production work.




- Inspect metal components and finished frames as per specifications.
- Maintain workplace safety and discipline on the shop floor.

Requirements

- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in metal fitting, fabrication, or a similar role.
- Experience in a furniture factory or metal furniture manufacturing unit is preferred.
- Good knowledge of metal frames, fittings, fabrication, and assembly.
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand measurements.
- Experience in manpower handling and shop-floor supervision.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
