Role Name : GE Proficy Developer

Responsibilities:

- Exhaustive technical knowledge and experience in design & development of GE Proficy MES applications OPC interfaces, SQL data bases and scripting
- Responsible for the day-to-day development, support, maintenance and implementation of GE Proficy Manufacturing Suite products
- Should be able to help team in resolving issues related to development, rollout or support, enhancements
- Should be able to communicate effectively with other teams, customers and third party vendors
- Should have been part of MES deployment (for entire SDLC) which includes experience in planning, designing, architecting, configuring, developing, testing, implementation, integration with other applications, deployment, multi-site roll out, Support, etc.

Must Have Skills:

- GE Cimplicity,



Cimplicity .NET scripting, RDBMS Skills, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Communication

Functional –

- Valuable understanding of CPG Industry processes
- Knowledge of process automation SDLC
- Good understanding of MESA, ISA95, etc.
- Good understanding of the manufacturing processes used in process industry and relevant IT systems
- Exposure to functions such as Inventory, Quality, Order Management, Plant Performance, etc.
- Experience in understanding Business and CPG specific KPI’s

Technical –

- Experience in Supporting, configuring & deploying GE Proficy MES suite for CPG Industries
- Experience on any of the SCADA, historians &D; DB’s like SQL In memory, etc.

General –

- Experience in managing MES Implementations, Global Roll out and support programs
- Ability to work with cross functional and cross cultural teams successfully

Good to have Skills:

- Understanding of PLC, SCADA Systems, GE Cimplicity Tracker.
- Experience in process automation using any PLC, SCADA, Control IT Infrastructure
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Desire to work in an IT systems environment Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
