Responsibilities

- Review and validate quantity takeoffs produced by estimators.
- Independently estimate complex U.S. rebar projects.
- Allocate projects among estimating team members.
- Review drawings, specifications and addenda for scope changes.
- Validate tonnage and estimate completeness before submission.
- Identify assumptions, exclusions and RFIs.
- Monitor estimator productivity, accuracy and turnaround.
- Train junior/mid-level estimators.
- Maintain estimating standards, templates and checklists.
- Coordinate with U.S. stakeholders regarding priorities and clarifications.
- Support development of standardized and automated estimating processes.

Required Skills

- Extensive rebar estimating experience.
- U.S./North American project experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced Bluebeam/PlanSwift and Excel.
- Soule experience highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of reinforcing-steel fabrication terminology and practices.
- Familiarity with ACI/CRSI/ASTM.
- Team leadership and client communication skills.
