- Strong grasp of event-driven/asynchronous architecture patterns

Essential functions

Candidate responsibilities

- Design and build event-driven, asynchronous AWS microservices (Lambda, SQS/SNS or equivalent) for this workstream

- Build and maintain the relational data layer (AWS RDS) this workstream needs

- Define API contracts with the pod's Mobile/UI engineers

- Define API contracts with other pods when this workstream requires cross-pod integration

- Participate in architecture reviews with the Pod Lead and PAR's cloud/devops team
