Role & responsibilities

1. Lead and oversee QA/QC operations across CNC machining, fabrication, welding, sheetmetal, assembly, surface treatment, die & moulds, and precision mechanical components.
2. Review engineering drawings, GD&T;, specifications, BOMs, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria to ensure compliance and manufacturability.
3. Establish and manage incoming, inprocess, and final inspection systems, including product acceptance protocols and quality gates.
4. Prepare, maintain, and control QAPs, inspection reports, process records, traceability documents, and all quality documentation required for audits and customer submissions.
5. Handle NCRs, deviations, customer complaints, and quality issues, driving structured rootcause analysis and implementing effective CAPA with timely closure.
6. Ensure adherence to AS9100, ISO 9001, and special process requirements, supporting internal and external audits.
7. Coordinate with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and improve process capability.
8. Drive continuous improvement in inspection methods, measurement systems, and quality processes.





Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate is a seasoned QA/QC professional with 815 years of experience in precision mechanical manufacturing, preferably in defence or aerospace environments. They must have robust technical command over GD&T;, CMM inspection, machining processes, fabrication, welding, special processes, and quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.

They should demonstrate proven capability in leading inspection teams, establishing robust incoming, inprocess, and final inspection systems, and managing QAPs, documentation, traceability, NCRs, deviations, and CAPA with discipline and speed. The candidate must be highly detailoriented, strong in engineering interpretation, and capable of driving rootcause analysis and quality improvements across the manufacturing value chain.
