Job Description IVR Medical Coder (CIRCC Certified)

Position: IVR Medical Coder

Experience: 3 to 8 Years

Certification: Mandatory CIRCC (Certified Interventional Radiology & Cardiovascular Coder)

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifier codes for Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular procedures.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, payer regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Analyze operative reports, physician notes, and diagnostic reports for precise code assignment.
- Identify coding discrepancies and work closely with providers to obtain required clarifications.
- Maintain coding quality and productivity standards as defined by organizational requirements.
- Stay updated on coding guideline changes, reimbursement policies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills:





- 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in IVR/Interventional Radiology coding.
- Robust knowledge of cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, interventional radiology, and endovascular procedures.
- Expertise in ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, modifiers, and medical terminology.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high coding accuracy.
