Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automation solutions for Mainframe operations and production support.

- Create and enhance automation scripts using REXX, JCL, Python, Shell Scripting, CLIST.

- Automate batch job monitoring, scheduling, alerting, and recovery processes.

- Manage and support scheduling tools such as ESP, CA7, Control-M, AutoSys, and TWS.

- Monitor production environments and proactively resolve job failures and performance issues.

- Implement process improvements to reduce manual effort and increase operational efficiency.

- Work with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to integrate Mainframe automation into enterprise automation frameworks.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring incidents.

- Support change management, release activities, and production deployments.

- Prepare operational documentation, runbooks, and automation standards.
