Summary

The Corporate Accounting Sr. Accountant joins Navsans Global Consolidation team to lead monthend and yearend close activities, manage intercompany accounting, and support audit and financial governance across a global organization. This fulltime, hybrid role in Hyderabad, India, requires 8+ years of progressive accounting experience and strong US/UK GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and post monthly closing journal entries for cash and general ledger accounts
- Review invoicing processes and perform AP/AR confirmations to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Maintain bank reconciliations, goodwill schedules, and the Intercompany Matrix workbook
- Refresh foreignexchange entries and coordinate intercompany case activity tracking
- Prepare and update management reporting workbooks and deliver adhoc financial analysis
- Provide audit support by creating and maintaining financial statement workpapers and responding to auditor inquiries
- Coordinate intercompany yearend balance confirmations and signoff procedures
- Review AR/AP offset proposals and ensure proper accounting treatment
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and maintain thorough documentation of accounting positions




- Collaborate with global stakeholders, communicate status updates, and mentor team members

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 8+ years of fullcycle accounting experience with emphasis on monthend and yearend close
- Robust knowledge of US GAAP and UK GAAP reporting standards
- Proficiency in SAP (or similar ERP) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros)
- Demonstrated experience supporting external audits and handling audit queries
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and attentiontodetail skills
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to influence and align stakeholders
- Proactive ownership of workstreams with a focus on quality and accountability
- Ability to maintain organized documentation using tools such as OneNote or equivalent

Nice to have

- Experience with intercompany accounting and foreignexchange reporting
- Familiarity with consolidation processes in a global finance environment
- Knowledge of financial reporting tools beyond Excel (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Exposure to process improvement initiatives and automation
