Job description

Responsibility

Plan, coordinate, and execute dispatch schedules aligned with sales forecasts, production releases, and batch availability, adhering to FIFO/FEFO; Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, and regulatory guidelines for storage, handling, and transport; Ensure validated packaging, use of data loggers, and required transport conditions (including temperature control); Oversee preparation, review, and control of outbound documentation (batch release, delivery challans, invoices, packing lists, export/shipping docs); Monitor shipment tracking, temperature excursions, and delivery confirmations; investigate deviations, damages, shortages, delays with QA/RA; Manage approved transporters/service providers including qualification, performance evaluation, and compliance audits per SOPs; Control outbound inventory in ERP for accurate stock updates, batch traceability, and reconciliation; Drive continuous improvement for freight cost, route planning, packaging efficiency, and delivery performance while maintaining compliance; Lead and supervise outbound logistics staff; ensure training on SOPs, safety, and data integrity; Prepare and present periodic reports on on-time delivery, deviations, and customer complaints; Coordinate with QA, Production,



Planning, Sales, and Customer Service for compliant order fulfillment; Support regulatory/customer audits by ensuring availability and integrity of outbound logistics records and documentation.

Qualifications

B.Com or B.Sc; M.Com or MBA (Supply Chain).
