Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced ETL Test Engineer with robust expertise in data testing, SQL, Python, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in validating data pipelines, testing ETL processes, and ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform ETL and data warehouse testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Write complex SQL queries to validate data, perform reconciliation, and identify data mismatches.
- Use Python scripting to automate data validation and testing activities.
- Test data pipelines and workflows running on AWS cloud services.
- Validate data completeness, accuracy, integrity, and transformation logic.
- Identify, document, track, and report defects, and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.




- Perform regression testing and support end-to-end data validation.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in ETL Testing / Data Testing.
- Hands-on expertise in SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and data reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of Python scripting for test automation and data validation.
- Experience with AWS services used in data processing, such as S3, Glue, Redshift, or Athena.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience in defect management and test documentation.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in automating ETL test cases using Python.
- Knowledge of data quality testing and large-volume data validation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test management tools.
