Lead Software Engineer - C# .NET

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end design, implement, test and maintain backend functionality using APL and, where relevant, C#/.NET
- Drive technical discussions and decision-making aligned with long-term business goals
- Architect scalable, secure and high-performance solutions
- Contribute to code quality, performance and long-term maintainability
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers through code reviews, technical planning, and agile practices
- Ensure system reliability through unit testing, integration testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Work closely with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver client-relevant functionality
- Investigate technical issues, performance bottlenecks and bugs and help design sustainable solutions
- Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to technical discussions within the team

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,



or a related field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET technologies
- Expert knowledge of C#, .NET Core/Framework and backend development
- Good understanding of object-oriented design, clean code, APIs, and integration patterns
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows
- Ability to work with complex business logic and collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Interest in learning APL. Prior APL experience is not required
- Experience with Azure or cloud-based development is an advantage, but not a prerequisite

Nice-to-have

- Experience from fintech, financial services or another regulated industry
- Exposure to functional, array-oriented or vector-based programming languages
- Experience with Azure services or cloud-based development
- Experience mentoring other engineers or taking ownership of a component
