About the Role

You will work on database migration, SQL, data transformation, validation, and AI-powered automation. You will own migrations end to end and work directly with the founder on technical architecture and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Extract data from legacy databases, old software systems, and raw data exports.
- Understand unfamiliar database schemas and map data to the current platform.
- Build automated workflows using AI agents for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Clean and validate data to identify missing, duplicate, or inconsistent records.
- Write SQL queries and reconciliation checks to verify migration accuracy.
- Execute multiple customer migrations every week.
- Build reusable workflows to make future migrations faster and more reliable.
- Work with the onboarding team to resolve data quality issues.

Mandatory Skills





- 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong SQL and relational database fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with production data migration projects.
- Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
- Ability to investigate unfamiliar databases and troubleshoot data issues.
- Practical experience using AI tools or agents to automate workflows.

Good to Have

- Python or any other programming language.
- Experience with legacy or on-premises databases.
- Knowledge of data reconciliation and data quality checks.
- Experience in healthcare, veterinary software, or practice management platforms.
