Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary processing for employees.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions and other payroll inputs.
- Ensure accurate calculation of gross salary, net salary, statutory deductions and other components.
- Handle payroll-related PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for payroll inputs, salary processing and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee salary-related data.
- Prepare payroll reports, salary statements, MIS and other HR/payroll reports.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, payslips and payroll processing.
- Ensure timely generation and distribution of salary slips.
- Coordinate with statutory authorities and support payroll audits whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour and statutory regulations.
- Work closely with the HRMS/payroll software team for system updates,



employee master data and payroll processing.
- Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Payroll Processing and Statutory Compliance.
- Good understanding of PF, ESI, PT, TDS and labour-related compliances.
- Experience in handling attendance, leave and overtime data.
- Good knowledge of Excel and HRMS/Payroll software.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee salary and personal information.
- Hands-on experience in HRMS/Payroll applications such as HRone, Keka, GreytHR, or similar payroll and HR management platforms is preferred.

Qualification

MBA/PGDM HR, M.Com, B.Com, or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in manufacturing, steel, engineering or plant HR payroll will be preferred.
