Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Functional Consultant with strong Automation Testing experience to support a large-scale global eCommerce platform. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, functional analysis, end-to-end eCommerce processes and test automation.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers and QA teams to understand requirements, define functional solutions, execute testing and ensure high-quality SFCC implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business and product teams to understand eCommerce requirements and translate them into functional specifications and user stories.
- Provide functional expertise across Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C implementations.
- Analyse and validate end-to-end eCommerce business processes including product catalogue, search, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, payments, order management and customer journeys.
- Prepare functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression and end-to-end testing of SFCC applications.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts/frameworks for web and API testing.
- Execute automation testing using Selenium/WebDriver or equivalent tools.
- Perform API testing and validate integrations with external systems.
- Work with development teams to identify defects, perform root-cause analysis and drive issues to closure.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Support release validation and production deployment activities.
- Collaborate with distributed/global teams and business stakeholders.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- 810 years of overall IT experience.
- Solid Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/B2C Commerce) experience.
- Minimum 5+ years strong hands-on SFCC experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SFCC Business Manager, SFRA, ISML, cartridges, jobs and integrations.
- Good understanding of OCAPI / SCAPI.
- Strong understanding of B2C eCommerce processes.
- Strong functional testing experience.
- Hands-on Automation Testing experience.
- Selenium/WebDriver or equivalent automation framework.
- Java preferred for automation.
- API testing – REST/SOAP.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Good understanding of CI/CD and defect management processes.

- Cucumber / BDD.
- API automation.
- CI/CD – Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps etc.
- Performance testing experience.
- Experience with cloud-based eCommerce integrations.
- Experience working with distributed/global teams.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be a strong SFCC functional professional who can also independently perform and understand automation testing. Candidates who are only generic Salesforce Functional Consultants without substantial SFCC/B2C Commerce experience should not be considered.
Priority should be given to candidates with SFCC + Retail/eCommerce + Automation Testing experience.
