Technical Service Manager Network & Wintel

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership:
- Lead the overall infrastructure strategy for data centers and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and best practices for infrastructure reliability, performance, and cost optimization.

- Team Management:

- Manage and mentor cross-functional teams across Cloud, Backup, Storage, Network, Linux and IT Service Management domains.
- Oversee resource planning, performance management, and capability building within the infrastructure organization.

- Operational Excellence:

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IT infrastructure and cloud services.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, observability, and proactive monitoring.
- Oversee backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.

- Cloud & Data Center Management:

- Manage hybrid environments integrating on-prem data centers with public/private cloud infrastructure.
- Optimize costs and performance across infrastructure platforms.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies aligned with business goals.





- Governance & IT Service Management:

- Implement ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Request Management).
- Drive compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure SLA adherence and service quality.

- Observability & Tooling:

- Lead implementation of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to enable proactive infrastructure management.
- Ensure end-to-end visibility and performance tracking across systems.

Required Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience managing data centers, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), backup and storage tools, and network operations.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks (ITIL) and up-to-date observability platforms (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk).
- Proven experience in team leadership, vendor management, and infrastructure transformation projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
