SRE SME Site Reliability Engineering Subject Matter Expert

Location: Pune/Hyderabad

Role Overview

As an SRE Lead, you will be responsible to automate operational processes, and ensure the highest level of availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems.
- Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Monitor and analyze system performance and reliability, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and services.
- Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an SRE or in a similar role, with a strong background in system administration, networking, and software development.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).




- Solid Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.
