Hiring: Senior Application Consultant | AVEVA

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Consultant with strong expertise in manufacturing operations, industrial automation, SCADA, and application support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the Oil & Gas or Food & Beverages industry, with a positive understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical troubleshooting, analysis, and diagnosis of product, custom application, and integration issues.
- Work with customers to understand business and technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Support and troubleshoot applications built using AVEVA System Platform or other SCADA products.
- Replicate customer issues and identify root causes.
- Deliver appropriate workarounds and fixes for product and application issues.
- Ensure case updates and resolution timelines are aligned with SLA requirements.
- Document activities, findings, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in case-tracking tools.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues.




- Question the status quo and recommend improvements to customer processes and solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in technical and development activities.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a global technical team.
- Travel occasionally for training, onsite services, and customer events.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- 5+ years of relevant experience in application consulting, technical support, industrial automation, or a related field.
- Hands-on operations and management experience in Food & Beverages or Oil & Gas.

- Experience with current versions of AVEVA System Platform or any SCADA product.
- Good understanding of industry processes and manufacturing operations.
- Strong presentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server database development tools and languages:

- SQL
- T-SQL
- PL/SQL

- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of VB.NET and/or C#.
