Job Description

- Serve as the SME for Workday HCM, Recruiting, and Absence.
- Good knowledge of Workday HCM, Recruiting, and Absence including Business Processes, Supervisory Organizations, Organizations & Hierarchies, Onboarding, Job Requisitions, Offer Management, and Candidate Lifecycle.
- Should have experience in multiple country rollouts (Europe, India, China, and APAC).
- Create documentation for new processes and update existing documentation based on enhancements made to existing processes.
- Act as the primary contact for the Workday SME community by troubleshooting issues, answering questions, creating and modifying reports, and supporting organizational restructures.
- Collaborate with the Workday Community and business stakeholders to resolve system issues and stay current with Workday releases and new features.
- Perform Workday administrative functions including security maintenance, business process configuration, domain and role-based security, EIB data loads, mass updates, password resets, creating cost centers, and tenant configuration.
- Regularly perform data audits, validation, and data quality reviews, and coordinate with business teams for corrections.
- Collaborate with HR and functional stakeholders to develop Workday reports using Standard Reports, Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, Trending Reports, and Calculated Fields.
- Support Workday production issues, enhancement requests,



regression testing, and release management activities.
- Participate in end-to-end testing including Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production validation.
- Having experience in data conversion and data migration from legacy HR systems.
- Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Technical Skills

- Experience in Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), and Workday Web Services (WWS).
- Good knowledge of XML, XSLT, XPath, SOAP/REST APIs, and file transformation.
- Experience building and supporting inbound and outbound integrations using SFTP, web services, and Workday-delivered connectors.
- Strong experience with Calculated Fields, Report Writer, Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and BIRT Reports.
- Hands-on experience with Business Process Framework, notifications, condition rules, validations, and approvals.
- Experience configuring Domain and Business Process Security, Security Groups, and role-based access.
- Experience with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) for mass data loads, data extraction, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Workday Release Management, feature adoption, regression testing, and production deployments.
- Experience troubleshooting integration failures, monitoring integration events, and resolving data issues.
- Familiarity with HR integrations involving Payroll, Perks, Active Directory/Azure AD, SFTP, and third-party vendors.
