Role & responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Greet guests warmly, take dine-in, takeout, or phone orders accurately, and enter items with correct modifiers into the POS System.
- Payment Handling: Process cash, credit, debit, and mobile wallet transactions securely. Issue correct change and print receipts.
- Cash Drawer Management: Count and verify the cash float at the start of a shift and reconcile sales totals at closing.
- Customer Service: Answer menu or dietary inquiries, suggest add-ons or promotions, and resolve guest complaints professionally.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with kitchen staff to verify order accuracy and ensure timely pickup or delivery.
- Station Maintenance: Keep the front counter, register area, and waiting zones clean, sanitized, and stocked with essentials.
