Our systems help factory teams monitor operations, safety, compliance, and security through camera-based alerts and dashboards. We’re looking for a hands-on intern to help take deployments from client requirements through camera configuration, testing, and rollout. The role combines computer vision skills, practical problem solving, and some client interaction. What you’ll do
• Understand client requirements
• Join deployment and review calls, and clarify requirements with the client when needed.
• Convert discussions into a clear camera-wise plan: use cases, zones, operating hours, thresholds, and other parameters.
• Document requirements and changes so the deployment team knows what to configure.
• Configure and support deployments
• Map use cases and settings to the correct cameras.
• Help apply configuration changes through Guardex’s ops panel and check that they reach the right deployment.
• Support testing and rollout at client sites.
• Computer vision skills to deployments
• Help deploy and configure computer vision pipelines for factory use cases.
• Use your knowledge of YOLO, OpenCV, model fine-tuning, and inference optimisation to help adapt deployments to real factory conditions.




• Support deployment tooling
• Help with Docker-based deployments and related configuration as Guardex’s deployment tools grow.
• Work with the team to make deployments and updates more consistent and easier to manage. What we’re looking for
• Practical computer vision knowledge, including YOLO, OpenCV, model fine-tuning, and inference optimisation.
• Ability to investigate detection errors and reason through false positives and missed detections.
• Familiarity with model training workflows and data preparation; knowledge distillation experience is a plus.
• A strong problem-solving mindset: you can break down an unclear issue, test possible causes, and follow through.
• Clear, organised communication. You should be comfortable explaining requirements, findings, and next steps to clients and teammates.
• A proactive, hands-on approach, you notice what needs attention and take ownership of it.
• Willingness to interact with clients during requirement gathering, deployment checks, and issue resolution.
• Familiarity with Linux and Docker is useful; deeper DevOps experience is a plus. Working styleThis is a fully in office internship. You’ll work directly with the founder and closely with the deployment and engineering teams. It’s suited to someone who enjoys applying computer vision to practical deployment problems, communicating clearly, and taking ownership of getting things done.
