Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Proposal Engineer to prepare technical and commercial proposals for water and wastewater treatment projects. The candidate should have a strong understanding of treatment processes, tender documentation, cost estimation, and coordination with sales, design, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for WTP, ETP, STP, RO, UF, and other water treatment systems.

- Review customer inquiries, tender documents, technical specifications, and scope of work.

- Develop process concepts, equipment lists, technical specifications, and preliminary equipment sizing in coordination with the design team.

- Prepare techno-commercial offers, cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing calculations.

- Evaluate tender requirements and ensure compliance with client specifications.

- Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, and project execution teams to finalize proposals.

- Obtain quotations from vendors and evaluate equipment and material costs.

- Identify technical deviations, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial risks.





- Support sales teams during technical discussions, negotiations, and client presentations.

- Maintain proposal records, cost databases, and tender submission documents.

- Ensure timely submission of accurate and competitive proposals.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.

- Experience in proposal engineering, estimation, and tendering.

- Familiarity with WTP, ETP, STP, RO, UF, and related treatment technologies.

- Ability to interpret technical specifications, P&IDs;, process flow diagrams, and equipment datasheets.

- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, costing, vendor coordination, and techno-commercial documentation.

- Positive analytical, communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and relevant engineering tools.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment EPC projects.

- Exposure to industrial water treatment systems and turnkey project proposals.

- Ability to independently handle proposals from inquiry receipt through final submission.
