Role Description The General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of Janki Palace Bhopal, ensuring smooth functioning of front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments. This full-time, on-site role in Bhopal includes managing staff schedules, supervising performance, and maintaining high standards of guest service. The General Manager monitors budgets and costs, oversees vendor relationships, and ensures compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards. The role involves handling guest feedback and escalations, implementing operational improvements, and coordinating with ownership on strategic plans, pricing, and marketing initiatives. The General Manager also prepares regular reports on occupancy, revenue, and service performance and leads efforts to enhance guest experience.



Qualifications
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in supervising teams and fostering a cooperative work environment.
• Proficiency in hotel or hospitality operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and basic facility management.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and revenue management, with the ability to analyze operational and financial reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests, staff, vendors, and ownership.
• Ability to handle guest issues calmly and professionally, with a focus on problem-solving and service recovery.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, documentation).
• Relevant experience in hospitality management or hotel operations; prior experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager is preferred.
• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is beneficial.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, based on operational needs.
