Role Description The Account Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, supporting daily financial and accounting operations for Chaska Bun. Responsibilities include handling petty cash, assisting with recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting basic bookkeeping activities. The role also involves monitoring payments and receivables, helping with credit control processes, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors on finance-related queries. The Account Assistant will assist in preparing simple financial reports, organizing documentation for audits, and ensuring compliance with established accounting procedures. Regular collaboration with the finance team and transparent communication with the operations staff are key parts of the day-to-day work. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess foundational Accounting and Finance skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger maintenance,



and understanding of financial documentation.
• Candidates should possess Credit Control skills, such as tracking receivables, following up on outstanding payments, and supporting cash-flow management.
• Candidates should possess Petty Cash handling skills, including accurate cash management, expense recording, and reconciliation.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in basic accounting software or spreadsheets, attention to detail, and strong numerical aptitude are preferred.
• Prior experience in a hospitality, retail, or food service environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
