Oracle Fusion Procurement Lead Location
- Gurugram, India Experience Level
- 8–10 Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Procurement Lead with 8–10 years of experience in Oracle Procurement, including hands-on Oracle Fusion Procurement delivery. The ideal candidate will have owned the procurement workstream on full-cycle Fusion implementations, covering the entire procurement lifecycle—from requisition and sourcing through purchasing, contracts, and supplier management. The candidate must also be comfortable designing approval rules in alignment with the client's Delegation of Authority (DoA). In this role, you will be deployed on an Oracle Fusion engagement for a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) client in the Middle East, owning procurement process design, configuration, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) touchpoints with Finance and Inventory. Delivery will be primarily offshore from Gurugram, with onsite presence in Dubai for key project milestones, including requirement gathering, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover, and go-live. 3.
Key Responsibilities
A. Process Discovery & Solution Design
• Lead procurement workshops and document the to-be processes across requisition, sourcing, purchasing, contracts, and supplier management.
• Capture the client's Delegation of Authority (DoA) and approval requirements as inputs to approval design.
• Identify gaps against standard Fusion functionality and recommend fit-to-standard solutions before considering extensions.
• Advise the client's procurement team on leading practices for high-volume, multi-outlet purchasing. B. Oracle Fusion Procurement – Configuration
• Configure Self Service Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, and Procurement Contracts, wherever in scope.
• Set up procurement business units, document styles, catalogues, smart forms, and blanket and contract purchase agreement types.
• Configure supplier registration, onboarding, and qualification workflows. C. Approvals & Delegation of Authority
• Design and configure approval rules for requisitions,
purchase orders, agreements, and supplier registration using Fusion approval tools, including BPM Worklist and Approval Management Extensions.
• Build and maintain the approval matrix, ensuring that every Delegation of Authority scenario is covered without gaps or overlaps. D. Procure-to-Pay Integration, Testing & Go-Live
• Own the Procure-to-Pay touchpoints with Receiving, Payables, and Inventory, including matching rules and accruals, in coordination with the Finance and SCM workstreams.
• Develop test scenarios, drive System Integration Testing (SIT), and lead UAT with procurement users through functional sign-off.
• Support supplier and open purchase order migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare. E. Workstream Management & Collaboration
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration workbooks, approval matrices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
• Maintain workstream status, Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) items, and project timelines, reporting progress to engagement leadership.
• Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations, reports, and extensions required to support the procurement design. 4. Skills & Competencies A. Must-Have Skills
• Oracle Fusion Procurement: Hands-on configuration experience across Self Service Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, and Supplier Portal.
• Approvals: Experience designing approval rules using BPM Worklist/Approval Management Extensions and mapping them to a Delegation of Authority.
• Implementation Lifecycle: At least two full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations in a procurement lead or senior procurement role.
• Procure-to-Pay Knowledge: Strong understanding of the P2P cycle and its accounting touchpoints with Payables and Receiving.
• Workshop Leadership: Proven ability to lead client-facing design workshops and drive decisions with business users.
• Documentation: Strong skills in preparing functional specifications, approval matrices, process flows, and UAT scripts. B. Valuable-to-Have Skills
• Experience in QSR, food service, retail, or FMCG procurement, including perishables and multi-outlet purchasing.
• Experience with Procurement Contracts and Supplier Qualification Management.
• Exposure to Oracle EBS Purchasing/iProcurement and EBS-to-Fusion migrations.
• Middle East or GCC delivery experience, including VAT considerations in procurement.
• Oracle Fusion Procurement certification. 5. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Oracle Procurement consulting, with recent hands-on Oracle Fusion Procurement delivery.
• Minimum of two full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations, with ownership of the procurement workstream.
• Experience working with an Oracle System Integrator (SI)/implementation partner or IT consulting firm is strongly preferred.
• Oracle certifications are an advantage but are not mandatory if hands-on experience can be demonstrated. 6. Additional Requirements
• Valid passport and willingness to travel to Dubai, UAE, for critical project milestones, including requirement gathering, UAT, cutover, and go-live.
• Willingness to work hours that overlap with the UAE business day when coordinating with client teams.
• Strong spoken and written English, with the confidence to work directly with client business users.
• Availability to participate in client interviews with the onsite team before deployment.
• Ability to own the procurement workstream end-to-end with minimal supervision.
