Role Overview

- Focus on software-side regression testing, test automation, and multi-tier validation for web applications.
- Automation + Component Scuba Visual test using Angular + Service Layer Verifications using Java/Boq & Data Logs using Spanner.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute structured regression test suites covering functional, integration, boundary, cross-module, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Develop automated verification scripts and regression harnesses, including Python-based validation for batch data synchronization, cron jobs, and Spanner database upserts.
- Perform component-level visual and functional testing for Angular applications and validate frontend-to-backend interactions.
- Inspect and validate service contracts, including Protocol Buffers (Proto3), between Angular frontend components and Java/Boq backend services.
- Verify Java service-layer logic, API/service responses, and data integrity across application layers.




- Execute SQL-based validation to confirm data parity between upstream datasets and Cloud Spanner target tables during regression cycles.
- Validate deployments and application behavior across development, staging, and production-like environments.
- Analyze automation failures, defects, logs, and data discrepancies and work with engineering teams to support resolution.

Required Technical Skills

- Solid experience in regression testing and test automation.
- Angular and Type Script for frontend/component testing.
- Component Scuba Visual test using Angular
- Java and Boq for backend/service-layer verification.
- Cloud Spanner, SQL, and backend data validation.
- Python scripting for automated verification and regression testing.
- API/service contract validation and Protocol Buffers (Proto3).

Experience with multi-tier application testing across UI, service, and data layers.
