Detailed Job Description - Business Systems Analyst (Telecom/Telephony)

Overview: We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with strong Telecom/Telephony domain expertise to support strategic technology transformation initiatives. This role is project-focused and ideal for candidates with experience in telecommunications technologies who are interested in driving business and technology integration efforts.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Support technology integration initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, and organizational transformations.
- Assist newly acquired organizations in migrating from legacy telephony platforms.
- Evaluate existing telecom environments and contribute to solution design, process improvements, and implementation planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of technology modernization projects.
- Create business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and project documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) or Business Analyst with a robust Telecom/Telephony background.
- Knowledge of telephony technologies,



voice platforms, contact center technologies, and telecom infrastructure.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Experience working in project-based environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with IT Service Support (ITSS) and/or IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
- Exposure to contact center and collaboration platforms such as:
- Genesys
- NICE CXone
- Cisco Webex

- Knowledge of legacy telephony systems and migration strategies.
- Experience supporting technology integration initiatives during mergers and acquisitions (M&A;).

- This is not a support, operations, or production support role.
- The position does not involve day-to-day troubleshooting of VoIP, fax, Genesys, Webex, or similar operational issues.
