Experience: 4-10 years of professional experience in embedded hardware development for industrial drives, servo inverters, or comparable embedded electronic products.

Location: Pune , MH

Behaviors:

Valuable team player; strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams; analytical and structured problem solving; proactive and self‑driven; open to new technologies; quality‑oriented mindset; effective communication skills; ability to work in agile settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis, specification, design, verification and maintenance of embedded electronics for servo and frequency inverters.
• Schematic design of embedded circuits (MCU/SoC interfaces, power management, analog front‑ends, protection and monitoring).
• Support PCB layout by defining constraints and design rules (SI/PI, EMC/EMI, high‑speed interfaces) and performing layout reviews.
• Hardware bring‑up and debugging on prototypes (power‑up sequencing, clocks, resets, interfaces) in close collaboration with firmware.
• Definition and execution of verification plans (electrical, functional, environmental) and support for EMC/EMI troubleshooting.
• Component selection, derating, reliability considerations, and management of parts qualification for embedded electronics.
• Collaboration with Manufacturing/EMS for product industrialization, test strategy and series ramp‑up.
• Documentation of design decisions, test results, and support during approvals/certifications (e.g., CE/UL) when required.

Skills - Mandatory:

• Solid experience in embedded hardware design: schematics, component selection, and design reviews.
• Strong knowledge of power supplies and power management (DC/DC, LDOs, sequencing, supervision, brown‑out behaviour).
• Good understanding of analog and digital circuit design (ADC/DAC, op‑amps, filters, sensors, digital interfaces).
• Experience with MCU/SoC hardware interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, PWM, ADC) and related signal integrity constraints.
• Hands‑on experience in lab debugging using oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, power analyzer, and soldering/rework basics.
• Experience with PCB design flows and EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence, Mentor) and ability to perform layout reviews.
• Understanding of EMC/EMI fundamentals and troubleshooting techniques in embedded systems.
• Familiarity with structured development processes, documentation, and configuration/change management.

Skills - Desirable:

• Experience with high‑speed interfaces and Signal/Power Integrity (DDR, LVDS, high‑speed serial, impedance control).
• Experience with industrial drive electronics, functional safety considerations, and compliance constraints.
• Basic firmware/embedded software understanding to support bring‑up and cross‑debugging (e.g., JTAG/SWD, boot logs).
• Experience with automated hardware test setups and scripting (Python/Lab tools) and CI concepts for HW verification.
• Knowledge of DFM/DFT and collaboration with EMS/manufacturing for series production.
